Lake
Whether you are a seasoned pro or you fancy taking up a new hobby, enjoy a fishing trip at Scalm Park Leisure. We host several fishing competitions per year, call us today to find out more information.

Choose from any of our three well-stocked fishing lakes all of which offer Carp, Bream, Tench, Rudd and Chubb. The lakes are open from dawn to dusk.

Prices start at £6 per rod. Night fishing is available by pre-booking (Carp Lake only).

Our three lakes...

There are 3 lakes in total, with about 80 pegs to choose from. There are plenty of features to fish to and also the chance of a Carp in excess of 20lbs. 

Horseshoe Pond
Mixed coarse fishing including Common, Crucian and Mirror carp, Tench, Rudd and Bream. Our newest pond, it fishes well and is regularly used for competitions.

Little wood lake
Well established v - shaped pond, quite sheltered on the short side. The water has depths between 4 and 8 ft. There is a mixed bag of fish in here, including Carp, Tench, Rudd and Bream, with plenty of reeds and marginal features to target.

The Carp Lake
Located down one side of the golf course. Fishable area limited for safety reasons. This is our most established pond formed naturally with plenty of bigger carp up to mid double figures. Whilst this is predominantly a Carp lake, hosting Mirror, Ghost, Crucian and Common Carp, you will also find a large number of Rudd. This water is best fished targeting the margins with larger bait such as meat.
